MESL combines technical capability with complex engineering to deliver sophisticated Coating and Finishing Treatment solutions for nearly any industry and application. Whether you need a standalone part or turnkey machinery, we have the knowledge and capabilities to meet your needs. In an effort to prevent corrosion or simply improve appearance, an additional finishing treatment process is specified for a portion, or all, of a metal part’s exterior surface after it has been machined or fabricated. In addition, some of these surface treatments also provide enhanced mechanical or electrical properties that contribute to the overall functionality of the component.

• Induction heating, a technology used to quickly remove existing coatings (incl. fireproofing systems) from steel surfaces
• Repair and reinforcement of concrete structures (Concrete coating)
• Concrete Impermeability by coating of:
  • 1. Hot sprayable flexible membranes (polyuria or polyurethane)
  • 2. Cold applied solvent free reinforced epoxy
  • 3. Flexible manufactured membranes that can be seamed on site and that are suitable for ageing or friable substrates
• Special tank-linings
• Composite Wrap System made of resin and fibres for pipe strengthening. It is applied in many configurations on several types of substrates (carbon steel / stainless steel / composite, straight pipelines and also fittings - flanges, elbows, reduction, T-pieces) and a variety of assets (caissons, storage tanks, vessel)
• Epoxy floor coatings, Decorative finishes, Anti-slip and Anti-static coating, etc.
• Scale Removal
• Pollution removal (Asbestos)
• Chemical cleaning eg: caustic washing on chemical plants; acid cleaning of refinery cooling systems
• Chemical decontamination eg. liquid fill decontamination and vapour decontamination
• Vaccuum Services: High air flow vacuum services for onshore and offshore operations on critical path shutdowns and day-to-day cleaning operation in the oil, gas and heavy industry markets. This comprises of:
  • 1. Online de-sanding using a Syphonvac
  • 2. Offline vessel cleaning using a Sludgevac system
  • 3. High-powered air flow vacuum suction
  • 4. Vacuum tinkering
  • 5. Combi-jetting and suction
